A lucid dream occurs when a person realizes that they are dreaming. This allows them to wake up in dreams and change
the scenery whenever they want to. For example, a few
years back I had a weird dream. It felt as if I were on a higher plane then earth. I saw my father laying inside of a machine.
The machine was so much similar to the scanners that they have at there airport where you put all your bags and belongings
through for them to get scanned. This one was similar, except it was used to scan souls. As the machine slowly took his body
through, legs first, he stuck his arm out and grabbed his head so I could hear his last words. My father dug in his pocket
and handed me some objects. He told me he was afraid that the scanner would scan them, and that he would be judged for it.
I accepted the objects, kissed him on the for head, and told him goodbye. Shortly after, the scenery switched. Now here I
am in a room with other souls of my generation waiting to be judged for there "current" lives. Some were even asking
for special requests. There was a woman holding a clipboard and a pen, as if she was in charge. The other souls in my dream
seemed to be alive on the earth plane, and in the dream world with me. I told the lady that I request for a good career for
my life back on earth, and she laughed and continued to write on her pad. She humiliated me, and at that moment I realized
I was dreaming. I looked around the place, looked down at my arms and wiggle my fingers as if I was surprised that all this
time I have been dreaming and didn't notice. I said to myself "I want to wake up, I don't like it here anymore,
I want to go back." Then I created a doorway in my dream, opened it, and shortly I woke up. Sometimes lucid dreams are even more vivid, because dreamers are not restricted by the laws of physics. They can
move through walls, become invisible, zoom in on distant locations, and manipulate colors of the dreamworld.
