I advice people NOT to use a "dream meaning" book or website. In my opinion that is a big NO NO. The reason
why I say this is no one but YOU can interpret your dream. Dream interpretation comes from your own intuition. Your "Higher
Self" may communicate to you in a more different or unique way then the next person. You and another person might have
almost the same dream experience, but there meaning may be totally different from yours. Don't get me wrong, I'm not
saying that it isn't good to listen to other peoples opinions, because we all need good advice sometimes. I am saying
go with your gut feeling of what it may mean to you. "Ordinary" dreams come from your thoughts and actions through
out the day. Other dreams are more meaningful, with metaphors thatare only meant for YOU to understand.
Interpreting a dream, or symbolic language is a skill that can be worked on. All you need to do is exercise your
mind. The type of symbolism that pops up a dreams is one way that your "inner being" communicates to you. So in
order for you to tap into that inner side of you, here is something that you should try.
1.
Practice this exercise with another party, or a group of people. Get a sheet of paper and pen, or whatever you want to write
draw with. Tell your friend to say a word out loud while your eyes are closed and you are fully relaxed. For example, if your
friend says "Doctor", what would be the first picture that you would see with your Third Eye? Whatever it is, draw
it down on a sheet of paper. For example, You may have drawn a stethoscope. Someone else may have drawn a red cross. Keep
practicing with different symbols. This should help you to understand how your mind works in symbols.
Remember to go with your intuition!! That is the number one key!
Another thing is, you want to be able to wake up and remember
your dream. Make sure you place a pad and pen near your reach, so when you wake up you will be able to document your dream
immediately before you forget. This too is also an exercise for those think that it is impossible to remember what they've
dreamed about.
Before you rest your consciousness and fall asleep, lay in the bed with your eyes closed.
Tell yourself "I will remember my dreams, when I wake up in the morning, my mind will be clear, and I will remember every
little detail in my dreams." Hold that thought until you fall asleep.
After you have
documented your dream, pay attention to all of the details you've written down. Where did it take place? Were you inside
or outside? If outside, what season did it seem to be? Were the people in your dream dressed with jackets, or coats? Or were
they wearing summer clothes? Your probably saying to yourself, what the.... ? But the reason I say this is because, say if
it were to be a precognition dream, well this is one way psychics are able to tell able to tell when an event would take place.
Ask yourself, who was present in my dream, and why? Were it someone
that I knew or a stranger. How did the dream make me feel? Was I disappointed, afraid, or excited? The more questions you
ask yourself, the better your memory will be.
Asking yourselves these questions could mean a BIG deal in interpreting
not only dreams, but symbols period.
